"Journée des jeunes" First Edition, Creating and Building a New World.

The first edition of "Journée des Jeunes", initially "Journée des Enfants" with the theme "Créer et Construire un Nouveau Monde", meaning creating and building a new world successfully ended on the 28th of June 2015 at the  of Lycée Polyvalent de Bonaberi gymnasium. 


Journée des Jeunes is an annual event for youths in various communities aiming at sensitizing, informing and educating them on community aspects such a Social responsibility, environmental security.  Over 800 people of different age group attended this inspiring workshop daily. Wonderful and inspiring young artists like: Stevesli, Phil Legend, Marco de Prince, Petit Champion, Spido and others were stakeholders who enthralled the audience.

 

Online media and other communication organs were also present: Kamer Konnection which has already written about the event on their website, NVS TV who covered the event and will broadcast soon; KWIN Magazine, FABAFRIQ Magazine and Topnotch Magazine.
The activities were amazing and educating such as: opening prayer by Pastor Gideon Abunaw, Talk Show on Hygiene, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis by Dr. Miss Tatiana, drama advising against Illegal Connection of Electricity by HOLY PAGES GROUP, talk show on Environmental Security and Public Safety, PSA Awareness by ENEO staff Mrs. Linda Tatabod. We also had Art presentation by Joseph Okie, ballet, dancing competition and fashion parade by the children. Gifts were also distributed to the children.

The event was sponsored by high profile comapnies such as ENEO (PSA) which providing for the publicity, venue, gadgets, training of holy pages members, books and other didactic materials. The books and gadgets were distributed to the children during and after the sensitization.
Also, NT FOODS SARL TANTY , NABCO and Winnie Exquisite Cakes provided snacks and cakes.
We had AUTO ECOLE PLANETE, SHREC, FABAFRIQ MAGAZINE, ELONGO GARDENS, THE DOUALA IV COUNCIL, THE PRINCE GARDEN, MOTHERLAND EMPIRE, BPW and DEIDOBOY who designed the events t.shirt.

The event in its entity was a success and the participants, guests and promoters had good moments and lots of fun as learning from kids was so emotional. This edition was a premiere and we highly expect next year's edition.
