H&M joins the racist camp

As a major brand, we all know H&M can do better than joining the team of racist losers.  There are some things we just cannot accept and this is one of them! H&M just proved to the world that being racist is cool and using a little boy to promote this is even cooler. It is 2018 and all the lessons learnt from other racist campaigns by other brands were definitely not considered as valid.

H&M featured a young black boy modelling a green sweatshirt with the caption ' Coolest Monkey In The Jungle' boldly printed on it.

It is offensive enough for a black person to wear a hoodie, but it is even much more offensive if they go a bold step further.

The image went viral after London-based plus size blogger Stephanie Yeboah came across it on H&M’s website and said, “Whose idea was it at @hm to have this little sweet black boy wear a jumper that says ‘coolest monkey in the jungle’? I mean. What

Although  H&M has since apologized for this, such an image is something that we cannot easily erase from our memories.  Such apopoligies might be hard to accept, expecially since H&M is still selling the sweatshirt after taking down the image from their website.

Who is to be blamed? The parent of the little boy? the modeling agency? the Pr firm? H&M or the world for not doing something about the last racist campaign aganist black peopel? you judge!
